Labor and Being a New Mom!

September 11th, I was on call for work. My back hurt all day like cramps. I did not think anything about. The lady that I work with told that I was going into labor. That night around midnight I woke up hurting. I did not know if I was in labor or just hurting. I did not want to be one of those people that are in the hospital for 2 or 3 days. So I stayed in the bed for about an hour then got up and took a bath. After that I talked myself into washing my hair. Then I decided to time the contractions they were about 5 to 9 minutes apart. I tried to go back to sleep on the couch. Timmy, is still in the bed sound to sleep. Sleeping on the couch did not work. I got back in bed around four. Timmy, woke up and asked why I was dressed. I told him I had been up since midnight hurting. He said, " you should have woke me up." We loaded the car up and he got ready for work. He took me to my mom and dad's house. The contractions started getting closer after he left for work. I was trying to wait till my appointment at 10:15 which did not happen. I told my mom I think we need to go on to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital about 7 am. The nurse checked me and I was 3 cm. We called Timmy at worked and he headed to the hospital. The nurse checkecd me again about an hour later and I was 4cm. the Dr. got there about 9 something did my epidural and broke my water. Then I was 5-6 cm. I had to stay on my left side do to my blood pressure being so high. I was dilating pretty fast. Carson, made his big arrival at 236. Labor was not as bad as I thought it could have been. I have seen people act crazy at work. I did not want to act like that. At one point they thought they were going to have to do a csection due to the baby's heart rate dropping. They had surgery on stand by. His cord was wrapped around his should like a purse strap. He is the sweetest baby! I have been very busy with him. Breastfeeding is work itself. Talking about work I go back December 10th. Carson, will be staying with my mom and dad on the days I work. I will miss him.

WE WERE IN A WEDDING UP ABOVE BRANSON THIS WEEKEND. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE WEDDING.

This was our second day at home. We were going to the hospital to get lab work to check for jaudice. It was okay.
